How to get clients as a health coach
You finished your certification. You know your stuff. Now you need people to work with, and it's hard to know where to start.
When you're wondering how to market yourself as a health coach, you don't need ten strategies. Start with three, and do them consistently.
1. Ask for referrals, and make it easy
The people who already trust you are your best starting point. A past client, a friend, or someone in your community already knows what you're like, so there's very little to convince them of.
Don't wait for referrals to happen. Tell people who you help. Something like, "I'm taking new clients who want [the kind of person you serve]. If you know someone, I'd love an introduction." Then thank everyone who sends someone your way.
2. Send helpful emails every week
Social media posts disappear within a day. An email list is yours to keep, and it lets people get to know you before they ever book a call.
Aim for one useful email a week. Share one idea, a short story, or an answer to a question clients often ask. Most weeks, don't pitch. End by inviting people to reply, because replies build trust, and trust is why people decide to work with you.

3. Have low-pressure conversations where your people already are
You don't have to post all day to get clients. Show up in a few places where your people already spend time, like a local Facebook group or the comments on a post you like. Answer questions, offer a useful thought, and be a person first.
Pitching in the middle of a thread rarely works. A genuine reply does more. When someone asks for help you can give, a friendly message or a short chat often leads to a real conversation, and some of those become clients over time.

Keep it simple
Pick one of these three this week and do it. You'll learn what feels natural, and you'll build momentum.
When writing all of this feels like a second job, that's what My Coaching Voice is for. It drafts emails and posts in your own voice, so they sound like you. You edit them and send them from wherever you already do.
